The changes in your body during pregnancy are truly phenomenal!
My images are a celebration of that pivotal time, and of life.
I believe that every woman has the right to have beautiful images of herself that portray her naturally in a respectful and tactful way. I want to inspire all women to see themselves as they are, beautiful and natural!
Here is what my new Moms are saying about me:
"How beautiful are your eyes for seeing in each person that which they want all to see of their self. How beautiful are your hands for working at a craft that brings such joy to others. I am now the blessed recepiant of an image of myself where I can look at it and say "I am beautiful" Thank you for this gift."

pregnancy portraits - photo-shoot tips
pregnant couples
Your significant other may pose with you for all or just some of the shots. Make sure to have them bring a black pair of shorts, pajama pants or boxers. Children are welcome and if you plan on including children make sure you have someone to entertain them away from the photo session during your solo images. It is hard to be the model and the mommy at the same time.
clothing lines
Clothing can leave red marks and impressions in your skin that can take hours to disappear. We will remove marks and lines but too many can be tricky and time consuming. To get the most out of your time with us we suggest that you ware loose fitting clothing three to four hours before your shoot. Avoid bras, panties and other elastics.
keep it simple
Keep the day of your shoot simple and relaxed. Dedicate the entire day to your pictures. From the moment you wake up visualize how effortless and flawless your shoot will be. Sip your favorite tea, listen to your favorite music, etc.
be prepared
Organize any special items you want to incorporate in your pictures the night before the shoot such as clothing or jewelry.
what to expect during your pregnancy portrait session
a new experience
Your experience will be different than any other previous portrait sessions you have had. We are not a photography "studio so there is no waiting room or line of people and no walls to limit the imagination. We capture a moment of real life with all its emotion and depth. Our focus is on you and you have our full attention.
comfortable
We shoot at any location: your house, park, zoo, office, etc or our home office. Its all about your comfort. There is no better place to capture real life moments than the places you are the most comfortable and empowered. Your home, your things, your environment.
flexible
Your shoot will start once we have taken the time to get to know each other and relax. We dont schedule more than two portrait sessions in a day so there is plenty of time to focus on you. Your session will last around two hours. Afterward, you have all the time in the world to order and reorder your pictures. We dont throw any negatives away like most studios do after a certain time limit.
nudity optional
Nudity is completely dependent on your level of comfort and the kind of final images you want to have. In order to achieve the natural feeling in or work there is some level of nudity even if the final image has none. Almost all of our pregnant moms have never posed nude before. All have said they were completely comfortable within minutes and felt relaxed working with Koren. You will have privacy when disrobing and setting up for the shot. You are encouraged have a friend with you at the shoot for support.
